First Grade News

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for your wonderful response to our service project. Our collection for Deacon Bajraktari was a success. On Wednesday afternoon the children met the Deacon, and they presented him with their contributions. He was overwhelmed by their generosity.

On Thursday the first graders met with their Big Brothers and Sisters to exchange small gifts and visit.

Please use the enclosed math worksheet to make copies for practice.

Pencil pouches are being sent home so that needed items can be restocked. Paint shirts are also being sent home to be washed.

Here are some important things to remember for the week we return to school:

· Show and Share for January 9th will be for last names N to Z in 1K and N to Z in 1R. It is an open theme.

· Spelling Words – quit quick quiz whiz which when arm card
